Flying V Replacement Pickguard

I just purchased a 1975 Flying V and it has a replacement guard that isn't the best fit and it is too white. Has anyone used a WD creme, black, creme replacement pickguard?
As a side note I am thinking of loading the new guard with a 57 Classic and 57 Classic Plus. Has anyone used these in a V and if so what do you think?

WD stands for Wrong Dimension.

I use Chandler for mine.

If it was fine, why did you trick them for a new one? And IMO it's not a trick, its deception; unethical whatever you call it.
