Anybody but me notice this before?

I was just watching the 'Bob's Country Bunker-Good Ole Boys' segment of the movie, 'The Blues Brothers', and I noticed that Matt 'Guitar' Murphy appears to be playing a Gibson SG.

I thought he was known for playing 'other' brands of guitars.

Re: Anybody but me notice this before?

Actually, in the movie he plays that, and an ES-335.

Re: Anybody but me notice this before?

Hell Yes... Matt plays a few sgs throughout the movie. But one of my all time fave scenes is when Matt throws his apron on the floor... looks at Aretha, picks up his Gibby style case (butt end forward) and says to Jake and Elwood, "Let's Boogie." I often say that to band mates when transferring my paul in from the car.
