Re: Oh wow...

You're not the first to point that one out. Bit heavy, bit plain jane, but since I've not got $400K in my back pocket it's not going to trouble me this week. Condition looks impressive.

Re: Oh wow...

I'm not G.A.S.'n for it, but I came across it and was shocked at how well its condition was. The thing must have sat it its case for 49 years!

Re: Oh wow...

My guess is it will sell privately. People who surf ebay are chap a$$es.
Gotta go to a well healed person for sure. Maybe after the bailout some CEO will pick it up from their retirement fund.
Way out of line for a player's guitar for sure.

Still, musicians do play half million dollar instruments in symphonies. But they are not getting beer bottles thrown at them

Re: Oh wow...

I saw that one too. NICE. As for the seller's description, I wold be careful saying that it sounds like the voice of God; there was a false god in the Bible (I think its name was Dagon - the vegetation god) that was worshipped; and God knocked it on the ground face down with its head and arms removed.....it would be a shame if the head was knocked off that guitar! Uhm, and the stellar investment remark in the ad.....with a starting price of $377K, not sure how stellar it would be. But definitely solid! I wish I could afford one.
