Arlen Roth lessons

Does anybody else like those lessons at the gibson lifestyle site? He shows some pretty cool and diverse stuff there.

Re: Arlen Roth lessons

I have not checked out the link above but, Roth in his lesson in guitar player magazine hipped me to the whole double stop thing and, I have never turned back from that...it is an intergal part of they way I understand guitar....and for that he will always have my deepest respect.....very cool

Re: Arlen Roth lessons

I liked it so much I just spent an hour and a half going through some.
Thanks for the post - I have become a really lazy - "non-playing" guitar player.
This gives me a goal to practice daily and maybe become as good as I was back when I was in the midst of taking 8 years of lessons. I don't know if it would be good for a total beginner; that I have played for 30 years sure helps in keeping up. I think this is very profitable.

Re: Arlen Roth lessons

Arlen took all that Clarence White B-bender stuff and went to town, without the bender...pretty good and a fun style to learn and play.
