I've been bad... and tele good

I've always wanted a tele, i played some way back and i loved that twang. And i thought about one for live and the studio when i need that cutting tone.

I just got me a mint 60th Ann '52 RI tele nr 753 out of 1000 made - and found another nice one (on the way), a Vintage Hot Rod '52 with a SD vintage minibucker neck and Fender Custom Vintage bridge.

The 60th looks vintage all the way with Nocaster Fender pu's, nitro finish, vintage frets & smaller radius, selected premium ash, etc. It sounds awesome and plays like butta. I will probably convert the vintage wiring to modern 4-way & no-load tone pot.

The HR has same nitro finish & body, but med jumbo frets and 9.5 radius. This will be converted to modern 3 way no-load. Already thinking of mods eh? i haven't said anything about Glendale hardware yet..!

Hey i'll post pics when nr2 arrives

Thanks Jomo - Well i can't wait, so here's a few pics of the 60th Ann ;-) the color looks better in person. I like the irregularity of the grain!

*DROOLS*

Wow... That is just gorgeous. I love my sunburst/maple Tele A LOT and that is just giving me some serious GAS!! I love the natural finish.

My fav two too man! You cant beat a Tele when it comes to single coils... and you cant beat a Les Paul when it comes to humbuckers... If you are gonna own just two guitars they better be a Lester and a Tele. (I own and have owned dozens... but right now all the love is going to the Tele-Les Paul combo...)
