A weekend warrior and blues/jazz/fingerpickin' facemelter... I'm actually more well known for turning down many invitations to join established bands over the years. The attraction of leading that 'pro' lifestyle is nil to me (IMO). Okay if your in your teens/twenties, but not much fun if you need to pay the mortgage and run a business! Ever tried earning 'proper' money playing the guitar? It doesn't matter how good you are.
I know a few 'name' players, and they would rather be surfing for porn and vintage gear on Ebay than joining in with this thread! No offence y'all.
