Nikki - That links looks very like the one here in the UK, but the colour is different. I think the guitar may have been rubbed down and had the original finish taken off it to some extent. That arrangement on the neck is very similar from memory. Is this the "set-in" type neck you mention? The back of the guitar is slightly contoured, the top is slightly arched, but the neck does have that little access cover and doesn't have the usual larger bolt-on neck plate. I've never even heard of the PANTHER model, but the nearness of the serial numbers does also add some weight to this idea of yours...

How rare is the PANTHER?

I have to say - "thanks" again for your assistance on this research.

Have you got any pictures of the FRONT of your lovely PANTHER?
