I had a metal trc etched with my guitar's name on it (
Impaler) and it gets great comments every time I open the guitar case. Of course, my guitar is a Custom and the headstock has a different look with the split diamond, but you get the idea. I play metal and my intention was to elevate the cosmetic evilness factor a bit to keep up with the sonic evilness.
