Well, I still haven't decided 100% on the Les Paul, but I am installing new pickups in my Strat and I noticed that the 2nd tone control is like a "double stacked tone pot" (one under another) and I remembered that's the mid-boost feature. I don't want that and instead want to replace it with a standard pot.

So, I was just wondering if there's a special type of pot intended for the tone control versus the volume control.

In other words, should the EP 0085 250K CTS Audio Pot that I just bought be alright for the 2nd tone position?
