Stolen property should always be returned to the owner. Whether the owner is bad, good or ugly, it makes no difference at all. All that is needed is the proof. Failure to do this only legitimizes theft.
If the guitar is returned to Montrose, as I believe it should, Gary Moore would also become a victim unfortunately. But, none the less, it should be done because right is right and wrong is wrong.
