I'm new to tube amps. Is there any way to tweak a tube amp to give it more bite and distortion? To take it more in the heavy metal direction.

Be very careful if you work on it yourself. Tube amps still unplugged carry alot of voltage. Enjoy nice amp. Keep us informed about any changes you make.
