What have I done....

Today, I was finishing up the sanding on my LP.

And Last thing to sand was the back of the head stock.

I was thinking to myself that the serial number is imprinted in the wood, so if I sand over it, it will still be there.

I used a very fine grit (I don't recall the #)

And it sanded away the serial number!!!

Now I have a guitar with no trace of a Serial # on it.

But right before I did all of this, I took a picture of the serial #.

What have I done...
