So I went in today to put down a down payment on one of those Squier Classic Vibe Teles I've been gassing after, when I ran into this most peculiar guitar. I take it down and ask to play it. Turns out its a 1981 Fender Bullet Deluxe. They only wanted 500 bucks for it. For 150 more than the Classic vibe, I couldn't turn down a "vintage" MIA Fender. So I told them to hold it for me so I could scrounge up the extra change to put it on layaway tomorrow.
Im so excited. It had one of the nicest necks I've ever played. The original cream finished had nicely aged to a yellow almost butterscotch color, and it real nicks and scrapes all over, Its truly a Road worn. I know this thread is worthless without picks, but I'll post a pic of one but not the one I'm getting.
Apprently these were supposed to be the cheap Fenders billed to replace the Mustangs and other student models that Diceman loves
