It's NOT Moore's guitar. Yes he bought it, but it was STOLEN PROPERTY when he bought it. The guy that sold it to him never had title to transfer, therefore Moore never had title to it to begin with.
Moore needs to give it back and go after the dealer that sold it to him. Then Moore should start figuring out how to compensate Montrose for all the damage he caused to it while under his care, ie the repairs from the car crash and whatever else he did to it. There is actually a good legal argument to be made for this.
