I have a pair of P-90's that I got in a 76 LP Deluxe in 1984.
I've had these apart on several occasions and there are no visible markings of any kind that I could find. So there is no way fo me to date mine either.
I guess the answer to this question will have to come from some sort of pickup/P-90 expert.
