Well after noticing that my amp sounds really cool with single coils a few months ago. So I set out looking for a fender. A few weeks back the shop got a nice MIM Standard in, black with a maple neck. I liked it instantly and have played it whenever I was in town. I went to the store today with intentions of pulling the trigger but... One problem, it was gone. I looked around the whole shop but to no avail. I ask an employee and he had no idea what I'm talking about. Surely it was gone. As a last ditch effort I asked Mr. Repairman about it. He looked at his friend and they both laughed at me. "Just finished with it" is what he said and then he pulled it out... Chrome pickguard and every knob and peice of plastic was replaced with a black part. I was stunned. Played it and it felt as familiar as ever and it sounded nice, so I followed through with my intentions. I am limited computer wise for now so pics will be in the future (I'm writing this on my iPod) and as a quick question, if I tighten the screws on the spring claw will the bridge be more secure? Because if I do a whole step bend I can see the bridge move
PICS ARE ON THEIR WAY DON'T WORRY
