What we noticed when comparing these covers to various PAF covers is that a lot of PAF covers has been "ground down" so to speak and the edged are not as they were originally. The DMC covers have slightly curved sides on the ends because of this.
These covers were modeled after a little-used '58 PAF. Straighter sides, corners are dead accurate to it. We took a radius gauge to the PAf and then to the new covers for size, profile, and corners. They were as identical as you could get. The DMC covers are too small, actually.
My only "issue" with these covers is the top..there's some very slight "stretch" of the metal going on which makes a slightly "X" shaped pattern that's visible after high polishing and it distorts the reflection. The mfg'er is working of fixing it. For now, we flat-sand as much of it as we can away before I polish.

Wolfe, do you sell just the covers separately and how much if so?
