yes, the gold top is going to go psychedelic! the top has already been stripped and is waiting for primer... then *gasp* a swirl paint job! just like the ones i do on pedals ... im going to wait for it to dry out to paint it, its rained all week... so pics will come when she gets painted... as far as how the stripping process went, all i can say is fuxck polyurethane. you may ask why i did/am doing this... well, i really dont like gold tops
i got the itch to buy one because they appealed to me at the time, but the MAIN reason was I wanted a LP with P90s.... i know, why not buy this or that yada yada yada, oh well it is what it is lol...
Some will love it, some will wonder wtf... Anyways... i think its gonna be bad ass!
