The sound is great. It's very much a "Strat" sound. Mostly a very mellow vintage sound, with just a tiny bit of bite. It can get punchy and raunchy if you use a boost or OD pedal... or you can use a compressor pedal and get some really nice clean chords out of it. It's got some very nice pickups in it for a guitar in that price range. I love it.
