If it was some trendy neon color I'd say you'd probally get tired of it once the newness wore off, but those are both nice classic colors.
I've never seen a Squire classic series with a transparent finish up close. Are they photo finish or is that the real wood grain showing through? I've seen some bad photo finish on guitars before, in which case I'd rather have a solid color. If it's a quality finish then I'd go for the burst just for a change of pace.
