Yes, I have read about this too. I live in N. Texas where the sun is relatively intense. In the past week we have had nothing but sunshine here so I have been able to keep it out all day for the past 4 days. After today, it will have 20+ hours on each side.

The tanning bed is a great idea. I might need to do that if the weather turns. I don't know much about tanning beds, but are they more intense than the actual sun?! If so, I'm glad I haven't stepped foot in one!

There is another member here, Nicola is his user name I believe, and he lives in Honduras where the sun is really intense. It took him about 78 hours to fade his Les Paul. I don't think it will take that long for this, well hopefully not!
