I bought a Black Tusq XL from Graphtech and got it yesterday. It's made for Epis, and even though I have not installed it yet, the size and string spacing seems to be dead on (although some sanding is necessary). My question is about the grooves... they seem to be a little bit big. I use .09 strings and I'm thinking that the grooves are too big for this string gauge. I haven't read anywhere what size strings this nuts are made for, but I'm guessing the XL is an indication that it may use thicker strings? Or am I completely mistaken here?

Then I saw this pic:

Check out the first string... the groove is bigger than the string. Is this normal? Shouldn't the string have a tighter fit on the groove? Or am I completely mistaken here?
