I just changed out my first cap today... from a standard cheapo .047uf to a .022uf Orange Drop (guitar with p90s). The difference blew my mind! Now the guitar, with the same old as hell strings, sounds just like it did when I first put that set of strings on... With the added bonus of also keeping that "edge" to the tone when I roll it back all the way to 1. Amazing!
Now I'm intrigued by these Russian jobs... Could you compare them to an Orange Drop? (that's my only frame of referrence vs stock)
