i wouldent of thought the finish would make that much of a diffrence tbh, after all its only a thin layer of liquid/oil. i know one of them is more scratch resistant to a certain extent but im not sure which one, maybe one of the other forum members can help with that.

as for appearence its all down to personal preference, for example, some people like the cherry sunburst, i cannot stand it but the next guy would probley argue against.
