looks like it will be a cool project and I hope it turns out like you want it to.

One word of advice, when drilling pilot holes in your neck and headstock be sure and mark your bit so you can stop before you drill all the way through. I haven't done it, but I have seen and hear enough stories to know it happens quite frequently to us ammuture luthiers.
