...both sets are almost N.O.S. condition.the set on the guitar is more see through or swirly than than the other.I have a third real nice set,probably from '62 which are on another R0 which are greenish in colour.
I firmly believe that the colour and patinas,some almost '50 years later,is due to different batches of plastic used back then and how much they were exposed to handling,light,smoke,etc.
I have also noticed on Historic plastic that there are slight variances in colour.Some looks a bit pinkish,some looks a little more beige than others.This I would also attribute to different batches of plastic,which in the real world no matter how exact or computer coded they are would still have slight nuances from batch to batch.
