I am writing this to you guys in excitement! Yesterday Eddie's officially became a full-line Gibson AND Epiphone dealer (we only dealt with Custom Shop stuff prior!). So, now I will be able to hook you guys up with any and everything from the Gibson camp!
This is going to be kind of vague at first (and it will be edited with rock hard, solid info/prices later in the day/week!), but I just wanted to let you all know, that you can come to me for ALL your Gibson and Epiphone needs!
I was asked yesterday what I thought people would want from the Epi line, being as this is something that Eddie's hadn't really delt with before, and something that obviously, I am pretty into. And what was my reply? Epi Valve Jrs stacks/combos, Epi LP Customs, Standards, and Ultras, Sheratons, Dots... I'll have it all, and to an extent I will have it in stock, ready to ship out to your doorstep.
We're also gonna have A LOT more Gibson stuff. Studios, Standards, Traditionals, Vintage Mahogany, faded studios/SGs... You name it. I am also going to do something like, Brett's pick of the month, which essentially is going to be where I find the best of the bunch (like if I should run across a particular Standard, Traditional, etc that sparks my fancy) and post up some pics and info about it. How many of you would like to see some Pauls that are REALLY hand picked?
I can also tell you, that you aren't going to be treated the 'normal' run-of-the-mill Gibson/Epiphone when you buy from Eddie's. We are not a conglomerate chain store, if there is a problem you call and speak directly with me (or one of the owners). If there is something that is less than perfect about ANYTHING we get in, we ship it back! And the best part? When you buy a guitar or amp from me, you can rest assured that there hasn't been a bunch of kids playing with it prior. We work by appointments ONLY, so your brand new guitar, amp, hasn't been played by every juvenile delinquent in the neighborhood (just me, just for quality assurance purposes 
).
As for pricing... The news of Eddie's pairing with Gibson/Epiphone is HOT off the press right now (and I am typing this at 6:30 in the morning... Why am I up so early!?!?!), so I don't have exacts. BUT, what I can tell you is this...
