Re: Fulltone OCD

I have the V.2 and it does not clean up nearly as nices as mike's sound clips. but im not fortunate enought to have his vintage gear either. I wish he'd re-record some of that stuff thru regular run of the mill gear that most of us have.

BUT i think its a great pedal and its built like a sherman tank. I find it runs the best at 18 volts but it has a real nasty pop when you step on it. so i backed off to 15 volts. its still pops but not nearly as bad and the harmonics are much more richer than the 9 volts is.

I use LP mode and perty much have the dials mid way and thats all I really need for classic rock and blues

the dials are real touch sensitive so going like from 5 to 6 makes a world or difference in the tone

its the first OD pedal I acutally bought in 25 years b/c i couldnt find one that was decent, not raspy, and not a tone sucker. this ones a keeper. and its boutique so not every kiddie on the block has one

besides if you ever decide to sell it youll always easily get 70-80% of your money back on ebay.

i like all fulltones boxes. i wish he'd make an EQ and im looking into the soul bender for the future.

EDIT: oh yeah forgot to say its real quiet and you never know its theres, (until you step on it at 18 volts lol)
