Re: Aging Metal Parts w/Vinegar?

'Works GREAT with nickel...and for a really authentic touch to your nickel covers,
soak a length of cotton string in vinegar until saturated, then, lay it across the pole lines and move it slightly side-to side...it will leave vinegar on the surface where the string touches.

leave it for a minute or two, then rinse (thoroughly) with water.

Voila'...aged 'magnetic lines' on your covers!

Be sure to do any aging of the covers first ...depending upon how long you leave the vinegar on the surface, you can increase, or decrease the effect.
