Thanks! Those two along w/ my old Jaguar are the only things keeping me sane lately! I actually budgeted $5k in my student loans for gear to get me through 3 years of law school hell. I went a tad bit over budget, but I'm working on bringing the deficit back to where it should be!

So, we had a little jam today, and the three of us had (errr.... as I mentioned above! ) MGriz' Delta Blues 210, my Classic 30, and my Classic 50 410 (the 3rd guy has a C50 410 of his own as well) running, with 3 Les Pauls playing through them. It was pretty comical - "we all sound exactly the same!" (not really, though - everyone's guitars had significantly different setups - MG had his Duncan 59's, my Deluxe w/ the P90's, and the 3rd man was running passive EMG's and a few effects boxes).

MG's Gibby Classic was a lot of fun to play - the combo of his Classic w/ the Duncan 59's through his Delta Blues sounded so much like my R8 w/ the WB's through my Classic 30 that my ears couldn't tell the difference. Its kind of funny how this particular thread worked out - who would have thought that a little blues jam band would form out of it!? MG - When the weather gets a little nicer, we'll move the jams to my drummer's garage - he's always game for another side project!

Bordeaux - I'd seen but never played a DB210 before today - and after playing through MGriz's amp, I'm convinced that the Peavey "Classic" line to include the DB and the Classic 30/50 are some of the best amps in that <$500 used range out there. I haven't touched a stomp box or effects pedal of any kind since I got my C30 last summer - the amp gives me everything I'm looking for in the tone/drive/reverb department!

If anyone else in Missoula MT happens to read this thread (crazier things have happened!), fire me an email, and stop on by for a few beers and some blues!
