Idlewild, can you post, or pm me, and explain. The original info I got mainly from Bacon and Day, The Les Paul Book, and a couple of other guitar books of the period. Just telling me it's wrong doesn't help. I am trying to piece together a story. Unfortunately history is generally subjective, so even those that were there remember things slightly (or sometimes completely) differently. It is a well documented trait of human memory, and does not in any way imply deceit.
