Re: Anyone else using a Peavey Delta Blues 210?
Missoula? No way! Very nice diceman and yes, we should get together and do a side by side. I love Outlaw and it is gear heaven. I picked the Delta Blues up at a music shop in Bend Oregon, it's an older version with the black tweed. Actually, my wife surprised me with the Classic back in 2004, it came from Musicians Friend and I was very lucky that it was perfect out of the box (other than a set up). I've owned music man stacks, Fender twins, Laney and a host of other rigs but I have to tell you I finally got this Delta Blues dialed in and I'm really happy with the sound. It has a nice chimey tone like a fender but when you get to 5 or 6 six on the dial it breaks up really nice. The only thing that I dont care for is the tremolo reduces the volume a ton. The pre and post settings are not bad for a second overdrive channel but with a TS9 it is the perfect blues sound.
I was jonesing for that 08 standard gold top Sam had a while back but I ended swapping out my stock classic pickups for the SD 59's and now I'm set. What type of music do you play? Are you gigging with anyone? I was playing back in the old Missoula musical heyday with Old Man Tucker, gigging at Jays, the Top Hat and some other places but since then the bandmates have moved out of town.
