Those are some decent pots you got there, at least the size is a bit more chunky. Can't stand the little fragile pots.
I went with spring as I play my Pacifica without backplate for more resonance, don't ask me, got it from a tip video from Eric Johnson.
It also looks a bit cleaner, then a piece of ply sticking in the back lol

Blocking the trem does also increase tuning stability a lot
