Could be worse...
My Classic Quilt Top came without the pickguard attached, so no holes were ever drilled at the factory. It looks GREAT don't get me wrong... but I know I will never be able to put a pickguard on that guitar because I just cant bring myself to drill into such a nice looking guitar.
