i'm in the background yelling back at the singer but it may not be audible enough on some playback systems
for years, during solos i would yell, scream, or try to sing along with my solos
ala' Oscar Peterson (only not as talented) – typically the volume of the band and amps would drown me out unless i was near an omnidirectional microphone
