I'm on the hunt for a decent yet affordable delay pedal. I'm a bit skint, but I'm also not out to get something cheap that isn't going to last or work like it should.

Perusing the online catalogs, it seems like my consideration set isn't that huge, based on cost. I'm leary of the plastic Danelectro ones, given the online reviews written. Can anyone suggest the contrary?

Any thoughts on the following pedals?
- Ibanez DE7 Delay/Echo Pedal
- DigiTech DigiVerb Pedal vs. DigiTech DigiDelay Pedal
- Boss DD-3 Digital Delay Pedal (is this the gold standard?)
- Line 6 ToneCore Echo Park Delay Pedal
- Behringer Delay Pedal

I'm not playing loads of live shows, I'm not looking to do recording, etc. I just need a delay pedal when I'm playing around at home, playing at a friend's house, that sort of thing. What's the best bang for the buck?
