The Elitist. In a New York minute!
I own both (granted, mine is a 2002 Elite Custom & not a Standard) and would take the Elitist over a Studio so fast your head would spin.
In my experience, the build quality as well as fit and finish is leaps and bounds better on the Elitist series than on Gibson Studios.
