this might be sacriledge to some, but to me, the modern superDs just aint what the old ones were. Plus modern amps tend to drive them too hard anyway. To me, SuperDs worked best with older low gain amps.

you might want to consider sticking in a different double white pup in the bridge. There are plenty of winders in the vendor section who could wind you something cool.

in particular MHD pickups. Rayne from MHD is into modern high gain stuff so if you tell him you want something like a SuperD but better, he would be able to suggest something cool for you.
