yeah my recent purchase on ebay is a 2003 classic. the serial number matches up with the gibson format for serial numbers post 2000, the first two digits are the year the guitar was made made, with no "MADE IN USA" stamp (to replicate the originals made from 1952-1960)...(pic included in this post along with link to actual ebay item).... the guy has over a 99% rating with only one negative feed back.
