That's a lot of ground to cover.
But when I was still doing orchestral stuff, I knew a lot of guys who signed up with the circus (Barnum and Bailey, etc) for a year or two, who swore that the experience was like no other for building the chops. I suppose for a guitarist, Cirque du Soleil might be today's equivalent.
At this stage of my development, I might be more interested in watching the guys who have knocked it out forever - like a Klaus Voorman - rather than the shining-star soloist of the moment.
I'll have to think about this some more.
