I have Gibson (USA), Epi, Hamer (USA), Washburn (USA) and others. I do not miss my 2005 LP Standard at all and feel that while the "art" element of the Epi 1960 V3 I have is not the same (multi-piece, flame veneer) the sound and playability were/are the same. I am past the time where I need to have an "art" LP. For for "art" my Warmoth kills them all but a few PRS.
The Warmoth has a solid 5/8" quilt top, 2 piece mohog body, braz. rosewood board with abalone dots. Epi does the LP thing perfect from a player point of view.
