People don't understand how much a truly steady camera
improves the clarity of a photograph.
Camera shake, as you know, sometimes looks like blurriness to people. So they think something is wrong with their camera and or lens.
I still carry a small tripod, when mounted on the camera, allows me hold the rig against my chest for those kinds of shots.
