200 or 50 are both hearsay, how many have you seen? I can't believe 200 unbounds could have been produced since I've not seen more than 15 at most, and one being mine. The only dot marker models I've seen were the prototypes with the pointed horn and cantilevered head and the one with the flat maple cap and the counter sunk bridge. I can only base my guess of production of unbounds on the pots dates, and I don't believe anyone has shown one with a 1951 dated pot. My 1952 bound neck has IRC pots dated at 18th week 52. I don't know when production began in 52 on LPs, but I don't think it was Jan.1st.
