It is from 1995, and was THE TOP of their Artist Series. I have an Artist Series SG/Les Paul copy, the only SG I still own of the 3 I had. I have read owners reviews of this specific guitar stating it is on a par with the similar model Gibson, the L5 CES.

New, this Samick was over $1000, while the GIbson L5 lists at a bit over $12,300...retails for just under $9,000. (Kinda makes my Les Paul seem somehow....cheap.)

Samick no longer makes guitars with their company name on them.
