As the title says, I'm currently looking for a new pedal. I don't have any pedals yet, since I spent my money on a Fender Champ 600. I love the sound I get from it but I want more distortion on some songs.

A friend of mine suggested that I should look into a Big Muff instead of the Boss SD-1. Which he owns.

So, which pedals do you guys recommend?

BTW, I play a Epiphone standard and money is a issue so I'm in the market for a cheap one.
