When tuning your guitar get used to tuning the low E string then when you can practice tuning the rest of the guitar by ear. This is very important you will train your ear to really hear the different notes and then you can use this to start learning songs off the radio...better ear, quicker it is to pick out notes.

I only have just learnt how to tune the guitar with the 5th fret trick. Though I'm not sure how to tune the low E string
Any help with that?
