Ian, another tip is to download the Google Chrome browser (best browser out there in my experience) and it will translate pages for you. The translations can be a little rough, but that's just the way it goes with Japanese to English translators. You will get the idea.

As for pots, you are always safer to go with long shaft pots and use washers to get the height correct. Nothing worse than pots that aren't long enough.
