We've been getting some decent shows to my not very punk rock state (Montana) lately. Rancid, NOFX, No Use For A Name, Less Than Jake have played in the past several months. The Casualties were here not too long ago, but I was out of town. I'd been listening to Rancid since '92 or so - it was great to finally see those guys.

ah were neighbors lol. My band opened for the The Unseen in May this year. What a great time lol. Our encore was "paint it black" and when The Unseen finished there set they played "paint it black"...a bunch of cool guys lol, scott was a little high strung and I think it was jonny that has a germaphobic problem haha, thought that was funny a guitarist in a punk band thats a germaphobe.
I listen to and play alot of music but currently in a punk band. Its just nice to go play and have fun without having to put alot of hours in practice haha, been there, done that.
**EDIT** BTW freakin Rancid and NOFX? Damn you guys are getting alot of good punk music up there!!! Most of what blows through this town is screamo metal and emo bands. But what the hell weve picked up a lot of crossover fans this last summer.
