I backed off starting a discussion with people that would take an hour to bear fruit, simply as the result of mentioning the word "Libertarian."
The wider public perception is indeed the reality when I discuss the lofty goals with ANYBODY in the Cult of Paul, so I keep the most complex aspects of my ideology out of casual conversation.
People who don't get it often cannot get it, no matter how hard you try...
