is this this by a gibson neck standard or just in general?

I played a sg standard in a shop last years and absolutely loved the neck, thats was quite a thin neck.

My current axe is a charvel promod which is quite thin. I used to play Ibanez prestige wizard necks that were like paper. [HAND CRAMP]

Do any of these necks compare to a gibson 60s neck??

Thanks dommy
Which model SG Standard did you play? IIRC, there were some special runs for certain store chains that had the 60s neck. Overall I believe the SG Standards have what is considered a hybrid 50s/60s neck. I have a Charvel Model 3A and the Gibson 60s neck, like on the 61 Reissue, if that helps...not sure how close the 3A is to your promod. And, as HOT-BRIT says, no two are alike. Maybe very close, but never the same.
